Twenty students competed for thirty minutes during lunch.
The 16 with the highest scores moved on to Day #2.
(Actually, 17 came back, due to an additional student who played at a later time.)

Tuesday, February 7, 2006
On the second day, the old scores were all cleared. The 8
students with the highest new scores returned for Day #3.
(Actually, 9 came back, due to a tie for the eighth spot.)

Thursday, February 9, 2006
On the third day, the old scores were once again cleared. The 4
students with the highest new scores returned for Day #4.
(Actually, 5 came back, due to a tie for the fourth spot.)
(Due to a fire alarm during lunch, the third round took place on Thursday.)
A special LEVEL ROUND was held on Day #3 of the tournament.
Twelve students competed to see who could get to the highest
Nibbles game level within the forty-minute lunch period.

On the fourth day, the old scores were cleared. The 2 students
with the highest new scores returned for Day #5, the final round.

Monday, February 13, 2006
On the fifth and final day, the old scores were cleared. The two returning
students competed for the championship. It was a very close race, with each
student leading at one point, but in the end only one student was able to
declare himself the 2006 Nibbles champion!
A special SPEED ROUND was held on Day #5 of the tournament.
Eight students each played three mini-rounds to see who
could beat level 1 in the shortest amount of time.
